To lead all areas of the Human Resources function, including Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Recognition, Compensation and benefits administration, customer service, and Employee Relations consistent with corporate strategy.

Massy Technologies InfoCom (Jamaica) Ltd is seeking an experienced, passionate HR professional to join our team. The desires candidate will be required to lead all areas of the Human Resources function, including Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Recognition, Compensation and benefits administration, customer service, and Employee Relations consistent with corporate strategy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver service excellence daily in keeping with the Massy Technologies Customer Service Philosophy
  • Participate in the crafting of the ITC Group HR Strategy, and build the HR Plan for Massy Technologies InfoCom Jamaica Ltd.
  • Manage all activities associated with human resources from organisation entry to exit, including, recruitment & selection, on-boarding, training & development, compensation, employee relations, career planning and development, succession planning, recognition and separation
  • Oversee the Massy Technologies Customer Service Management System implementation
  • Provide advice and support to all Business Units regarding employee and industrial relations matters
  • Provide advice and change management/OD support to all Business Units under the guidance of the Human Resource Director
  • Lead and manage the performance of the Human Resources and Administration team through ongoing performance monitoring, coaching, and communication
  • Oversee the Performance Management System, including requisite training
  • Oversee the Human Resource Information System
  • Prepare and manage the administration, manpower and employee budgets
  • Monitor compliance with Human Resource Policies and Procedures
  • Oversee the security at all locations
  • Manage the payroll process and all related activities
  • Manage all general administration activities, such as, courier services, cleaning services, household supplies, and stationery supplies

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc in Social Sciences (e.g. General Management, Human Resource Management or Sociology)
  • Post Graduate Certification in Human Resource Management an asset
  • Minimum of five years’ progressive experience in the HR/ADMIN Field; three of which should be in a senior position
  • Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
  • Experience in the use of an HRIS System
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in change management and project management an asset
  • Good understanding of current trends in HRM
